HWRF Sokoto sensitisation campaign on covid 19

The officials of the Human Rights Watch and Youths Empowerment Foundation, Sokoto Chapter has demonstrated their online training on advocacy to demonstrate their skills by sensitising the people of Ruggar Liman area in Kware Local Government Area of Sokoto state of Nigeria.

The Sensitization activities include the distribution of free face masks to the peoples of the community and further lessons on creating awareness on the important of keeping social distance and advantage of using the face masks on her efforts to combat the transmission of Coronavirus pandemic in the area.

The state Coordinator, Aminu Ghandi, call on the attention of the People of Ruggar Liman area to follow adequate protective measures and obey the rules and regulation given by NCDC on COVID-19 pandemic. The Team leader in accompanied by his executives and members include Fatima (Assist. Coordinator in the state) Aminu Bello Balaraba Chiroma, (publicity Secretary) and many others. They collectively thank the President/Founder of the organisation, Ambassador Agim Godwin Apple and his working teams for their efforts. “We are happy for the creation of the teams in our organisation which includes the Legal team, Medical team and Media team.

This is a total security backing to our work as Human Rights Activists in Nigeria.” They asure the people of maximum support and cooperation from HRWF in protecting lives, equal justice, freedom in all areas of human endeavour, child protection, girl child molestation and assurance of Rights of every human in the state and nation as well as putting more pressure on the insuring of the Gender equality. In her Remarks the Assistant Coodinator Fatima advise the rural people to maintain social distance, wash their hands regularly with soap and water she also state that when using facemasks let them use it properly and after using it let them wash it and dry.

However the HRWF official take visit to one of its client AbubaKar Ibrahim age of 10 yrs who got medical freedom under the operation of its members. We beg the word to support our actions through donations because we want to do more for humanity. They added.
