The torrent of women abuse has gained a wild momentum and it spreads across every lenght and breath of the world like a harmattan fire.

It is unarguably a fact that one in three women and girls worldwide experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime, most frequently by an intimate partner.

A lot of these heinous crimes have been washed down the drain through justice miscarriages.

Hundreds of millions of women and girls alive today were married off while still children.

Many were exposed to violence, forced from school and pushed into premature parenthood.

But a voice cries in the wilderness, asking how long shall we continue laboring our women as slaves.

It’s that time of the year again to speak up for women’s rights! To show the world that we must make this world of ours a generation Equality one, and this we can truly achieve by a strong solidarity.

International Women’s Day is an opportunity we should all use our platforms to empower each other and support women everywhere who are mobilizing for an equal future.

Happy Women’s Day!

God bless you.
